PRIDE REHEARSALS FOR JTG

Upcoming Pride rehearsals for all 7th and 8th grade boys

      *On this day students will bring all of their belongings (including backpack and choir uniform) with them to Pride. At 2:20 we will go directly to the bus that will transport us to Franklin Central for the concert. Dinner will be provided.

Just the Guys Concert Information

Our first performance of the year is right around the corner!

Who: 7th and 8th grade boys (also boys from West and FC)
When: Thursday, October 9th at 7:00 PM
Where: Franklin Central High School Auditorium (Door 9)

**On the day of the concert, students must bring their uniform (black shoes, black dress pants, and polo shirt) with them to school.**

Polo shirts for 7th graders and new 8th graders will be passed out next week.

Students Aren't Standardized

"Students Aren't Standardized" and "Think Beyond the Bubbles" are the new advocacy slogans for the National Association for Music Education. 

Participating in the performing arts is a unique experience that teaches skills not found in standardized testing. Here are the skills listed on the back of the shirt:

Rhythm Quiz

This week students started learning about rhythm. There will be a summative rhythm quiz on Monday, September 29th (Blue Day) and Tuesday the 30th (White Day). You can download the study guide here.
